2024 RC EVENT FOR CHARITIES

Attractions:

Off-Road Competition Track - huge off-road RC track with jumps set up for competition by MNRCPLR for their 5th and final race of the 2024 Summer Series Parking Lot Racing. People are welcome to come join the racing as long as they meet the requirements for the race classes found on the website mnrcplr.godaddysites.com. For racers, the track opens for practice at 10:00, registration at 11:30, and racing starts at 12:00. Non-racers will have a few opportunities to try the track during intermissions in the racing. Non-racers will need to drive responsibly and have their RC's approved for use to make sure that the track is not damaged.
High-Speed Oval Track - huge high-speed oval track with NASCAR style RC Cars to try driving provided by Party Crashers RC Racing. People can try driving their own RC's on the track as well. Anything goes! Drive as fast as you can as long as we feel the driver can drive responsibly and not create a situation where the are safety concerns or possible damage to the track. The track will have safety barriers and crash netting. Trophies will be giving out for the best race (most laps in 3 minutes) with the Party Crasher's NASCAR's, and another trophy for the Fastest 10 Laps with your own RC.
Drift Track - sweet carpeted drift track for RC drift car owners to participate provided by MN RC Drift Company.
Bashing Ramps - ever take it off any sweet jumps? There will be several RC Ramps set up to send your RC to the skies! Ramps are provided and sold by Luke Walden.
RC Swap Meet - starts at 10:00 and is organized by MN RC Swap Meets on Facebook.
RC Car Show - There will be an RC Car show with trophies awarded at the second intermission in racing approx. 2:30-3:00 timeframe. Listen for announcements. Trophies will be for Best in Show and Best in Scale.
Other possible RC events that might be happening: RC Rock Crawling Course, RC Sumo Table, RC Excavators and Heavy Equipment, and ??

Costs:

Spectators:

There is no cost to be a spectator at the event.
Spectators can try driving the Party Crashers' NASCAR RC's on the high-speed oval track for one ticket. Tickets will cost $5 each or 5 tickets for $20.

RC Owners need wristbands:

For people with their own RC Cars, it will cost $10 to participate and you will need to register and get a wrist band. No driving of your RC Cars without a wristband. For that amount you will be able to participate in the RC attractions and get 2 tickets that can be used for the Off-Road track (during intermissions) or the High-Speed Oval for a 3 minute race or 10 lap trophy attempt. Additional tickets can be purchased for $5 each or 5 tickets for $20.
Only the Off-Road Track (during intermissions) or the High-Speed Oval require tickets. All the other RC events only require the wristband.

Off-Road Track Competitive Racing:

You must meet requirements of the race classes listed on mnrcplr.godaddysites.com.
Wristband required. Each class entry $10. Youth under 16 FREE with wristband. Transponder rental $10.
Fast driving is expected, however, reckless driving will not be tolerated for safety and potential damage to the track.

High-Speed Oval:

Cost to run on the oval is one ticket for: a 3 minute race with Party Crashers' NASCAR RC's, a 3 minute race with your own RC's, or a 10 lap trophy attempt. It will be up to discretion of organizers of this attraction whether they feel you can participate responsibly and safely enough.

Drift Track:

Free with wristband. This is intended for people with their own RC's. It will be up to discretion of organizers of this attraction whether they feel you can participate responsibly and safely enough.

Bashing Ramps:

Free with wristband. This is intended for people with their own RC's. It will be up to discretion of organizers of this attraction whether they feel you can participate responsibly and safely enough.

RC Car Show entry:

One entry free with wristband. Additional entries one ticket.

Other RC Events:

Free with wristband.
